Highway Construction and Maintenance

highway construction

Highway construction has exhibited continuous progression over the years along with the heightening expectations on quality, financial aspects and planning. It is understood that the bulk of the materials used are naturally occurring, and their behaviour under differing weather and traffic conditions must be perceived thoroughly to formulate the procedure of construction. Highway maintenance is crucial to preserve highway elements, ensuring safety and serviceability. However, the conditions of highways depend on numerous facets including technical and social aspects. Highway maintenance also overlooks enhancement and reformation unless otherwise it proves to be of a pecuniary advantage in the long run.
